Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift Availability: On-Call Rotation

Now Hiring: ADON Assistant Director of Nursing RN

As an Assistant Director of Nursing ADON, RN, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of patient care and operational excellence within your assigned unit. We're looking for a leader who is passionate about both clinical practice and staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Patient Care Coordination:
    • Conduct thorough assessments of each patient's unique needs to formulate, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans.
    • Provide expert education and guidance to patients and their families, empowering them with best practices to promote healing, wellness, and long-term health management.
    • Meticulously track and document all treatments, interventions, and patient progress in strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies.
    • Collaborate seamlessly with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a coordinated and smooth recovery process for all patients.
  • Clinical Leadership & Staff Supervision:
    • Actively supervise and mentor nursing staff on assigned shifts, overseeing the safe and accurate distribution of medications, precise execution of blood draws, and all other critical elements of patient care.
    • Lead and conduct regular nursing rounds on each unit multiple times throughout the shift to assess patient well-being, address immediate concerns, and provide real-time support to staff.
    • Provide continuous education and training to nursing staff, residents, and resident family members as needed, ensuring a high level of clinical competence and understanding.
    • Ensure all staff members consistently perform their duties in full compliance with local, state, and federal healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
    • Participate in the onboarding and ongoing professional development of nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of unit-specific policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes.
    • Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions to elevate care standards.
    • Manage unit resources effectively, including staffing assignments and supply management, to optimize operational flow.
    • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator, contributing to the overall success of our facility.
