As President of NIARN, I want to wish you a Joyous Holiday and Happy New Year.  It is your involvement and professionalism as Rehab Nurses that allow us as a Chapter to support ARN, ourselves. and our patients.  I am excited for the activities planned by the NIARN board to help us welcome the New Year.  We hope you can join us as we celebrate another great year.

Join fellow Rehabilitation Nurses for a Continuing Education Event on Thursday, January 23rd.  Event sponsored by Northern Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (NIARN) and Northwestern Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital.

Topic:  Oncology Patients and Rehabilitation Nurses:  A Necessary Partnership

Speaker:  Sally Strong RN CNS CNRN CRRN

Time:  7:00-7:30 Registration, Networking, and Pizza; 7:30-8:30 Continuing Education Event- CE will be awarded with full attendance.

MARCH 1st

Join fellow Rehabilitation Nurses for our annual service project with Project Cure’s Woodridge site on Saturday, March 1st from 0900-1200.

Project Cure delivers donated medical supplies, equipment and services to doctors and nurses serving people of need in more than 135 countries.  Together as a group, we will sort and organize the donated medical supplies that are sent to these countries. Northwestern Medicine supports Project Cure by donating both medical supplies and equipment.

Bring a buddy to help work alongside you on this day.  If your Buddy is under 18, a waiver form must be signed for them to attend.
