Our networking event at Morton's Arboretum was a success.  Please join our Northern Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Nurses Facebook page to view photos from this event.  Thank you to those who attended and participated in our outdoor activities. We do plan on having a similar event for the upcoming year at Morton’s Arboretum.

Thank you to our members that our planning to participate in the upcoming annual ARN conference either virtually or in person.  I feel the best part of the conference is connecting with my fellow Rehab Nurses.  If you plan on attending in person, please reach out to me at susankometz@gmail.com.  My plan is to arrange a meeting time so NIARN members can gather for a group photo at our upcoming conference. 

One of the areas our NIARN board members have been discussing is offering a scholarship next year for the annual conference to support our NIARN members.  More to come on this later in the year.  For the upcoming year we are in need of volunteers to help support NIARN with our events.  We are in need of Rehab nurses interested in presenting, helping to secure nursing CE units and/or a meeting site for in-person events.  Once the annual conference is concluded, the NIARN board will be meeting in August to help prepare for the new year.  If you can provide support to NIARN, please reach out.
